The Messalonskee Trail Riders ATV Club is a group trying to maintain the trails of Oakland for public use. We achieve this through events and group meetings. Frank and Jackie Prelgovisk established Mid-Maine Marine in 1986. Frank’s career in the marine business began as a technician for Hancock’s Marine on the New Meadows River in Brunswick, Maine in 1959. Ten years later, he established Frank’s Marine Service in Bath, Maine. Frank became a partner in The Longreach Company in Bath in 1972. Longreach is where his son, Garret, began learning the marine trade. When Frank sold Longreach in 1984 he was able to realize his dream of opening a marine dealership in the Belgrade Lakes Region. Frank’s philosophy in business has always been to provide outstanding service through honesty and integrity. His motto is “Service, Service, Service”; believing that good service is the only way to build a loyal clientele. Having spent the first 26 years of his marine career as a technician, owner, and service manager he practices what he preaches: Mid-Maine Marine Inc. proudly guarantees all of its products and services.
