Trees are not hard to identify if you know what to look for.
Join Maine Master Naturalist Harry Vayo as he teaches how to identify local trees. Participants will learn how to use leaf shape, arrangement, and other traits to accurately name species.
The first hour of the class will be spent indoors learning the basics, and the second hour will be spent outdoors putting your newly acquired knowledge to use. Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather.
Registration required, space limited. Recommended for ages 10 and older.
