Skowhegan Log Days Continues
Friday brings a full lineup of fun to Skowhegan Log Days. From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the “Log Jamboree” Frenzy invites participants into the gorge for a race to pull up sunken prizes. From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Bites & Sites, sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank, offers a culinary tour of Skowhegan featuring local restaurants and businesses through a historical lens. The evening also includes Moonlight Madness, the return of Skowhegan’s annual street festival with bed races, a climbing wall, food vendors, chainsaw carving, and more. Visitors can meet Slugger, the Portland Sea Dogs mascot, at 5:00 p.m. and take part in Lumber Jack and Jill, a runway competition to show off their best flannel.
